   Shaina Miller, Managing Director of Employee Benefits

Shaina’s journey from a temporary employee at 18 to becoming Higginbotham’s youngest Managing Director reflects her resilience, expertise, and dedication. Having worked in every role within Higginbotham’s employee benefits sector, she brings a unique ability to ask the right questions, identify strategic solutions, and deliver results.

As the leader of Higginbotham’s Houston-South Employee Benefits Division, Shaina oversees a diverse portfolio of national and international employers, helping organizations navigate the complexities of benefits with customized strategies that enhance employee satisfaction and drive business success. She also serves as President of the Texas Bay Area SHRM, advocating for HR excellence through professional development, networking, and education.

Resilience has shaped both her career and personal life. Growing up with a deployed military father and overcoming personal loss instilled in her a deep understanding of adaptability and perseverance—qualities that fuel her passion for creating meaningful benefits solutions. Becoming a mother in 2022 further strengthened her commitment to supporting working professionals in balancing career and family.

Shaina’s career is a testament to hard work, innovation, and leadership. Whether solving complex benefits challenges or fostering meaningful connections, she is dedicated to providing strategic guidance, building trust, and helping others thrive.
