"Using Generative AI to Increase Productivity"

Challenge facing business: How to appropriately use AI tools to increase productivity

In this presentation, Mike Coffey will demonstrate the use of several artificial large language models to create efficiencies in common HR-related tasks. He will discuss the pros and cons of different AI tools, how to create effective prompts, and practical issues in using the tools.

Live examples will include using AI to conduct research, summarize long documents, and create performance improvement plans that align with your organization’s policies.  He will also demonstrate how to create AI-generated training videos and images.

Participant Learning Objectives:

• Examine the unique advantages of different generative artificial intelligence tools
• Use generative artificial intelligence to create great “third drafts” of HR-related documents
• Create videos / graphics for use in training, recruiting, and employee engagement activities

Mike Coffey, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is an entrepreneur, human resources professional, licensed private investigator, and HR consultant. Mike is a member of the Fort Worth chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and volunteers with the SHRM Texas State Council. Mike lives in Fort Worth with his very patient wife. He practices yoga and maintains a keto diet, about both of which he will gladly tell you way more than you want to know.
