This has been a very active year - 2024 - with respect to new laws or new regulations that have a significant impact on the workplace and the employer/employee relationship.

This presentation will provide an update on the current status of these laws and regulations.

Participant Learning Objectives:

  • Discover various laws and regulations that have been put into effect in 2024 that impact the workplace and the employer/employee relationship
  • Determine what these laws and regulations provide and require of an employer to comply
  • Ascertain the current status of these recent laws and regulations
  • Develop potential action items to help ensure compliance

Joseph G. (Chip) Galagaza, Senior Counsel is a Board Certified Labor and Employment lawyer with over 40 years representing management in virtually every aspect of the practice area - from providing advice and counsel to being an advocate before administrative agencies and in the courthouse and before appellate courts. Chip has also recently added being a mediator and arbitrator of labor and employment law disputes as a part of his practice.

Kelly S. Sullivan, Senior Counsel has practiced over 20 years with over 15 years of her practice focusing on advising employers and representing them before administrative agencies and in the courts on labor and employment law matters. Kelly has also practiced both as outside counsel with law firms and as an in-house attorney, and her experience as a General Counsel gives her a unique and valuable perspective in assisting her employment law clients.
