Many employers are recognizing that employees’ behavioral traits are as important to success as knowledge or experience. In this presentation, Mike Coffey, SPHR, SHRM-SCP will explore effective strategies for evaluating essential behavior traits such as communication, adaptability, and teamwork during the hiring process. Learn how to leverage the content of job postings and the application process, assessments, interviews, reference checks, and other tools to assess relevant behavioral skills and make informed hiring decisions that contribute to long-term organizational success.

Mike Coffey, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is an entrepreneur, human resources professional, licensed private investigator, and HR consultant. Mike is a member of the Fort Worth chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and volunteers with the SHRM Texas State Council. Mike lives in Fort Worth with his very patient wife.
