Ryan joined the Alera Group team in 2011. Prior to working with Alera, Ryan was a top Consultant for one of the top 10 largest national insurance brokers in the country, Brown & Brown, Inc. Prior to Brown & Brown, Inc., he worked for HIG Capital, a private equity firm, where he was responsible for sourcing and assessing new investment opportunities in rapidly growing companies. He also worked for The Southwestern Company where he was a top salesperson and sales manager.
Ryan is a native Houstonian and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business where he majored in Finance and Marketing. He continues to stay active with his alma mater by serving on the Board of the Texas Exes Houston Chapter.
