Anticipated Changes in Employment Law Under the Biden Administration

Each presidential administration comes with various changes, especially in the world of employment law and employer/employee relationships.  This presentation will provide an overview of changes made in the world of employment law during President Biden and anticipated changes.

Participants Learning Objectives:

    • Examine what agency changes have been made that will affect the enforcement of employment law   
    • Analyze recently passed laws and their affect on the employer / employee relationship
    • Identify President Biden’s potential moves in presidential, agency, and other leadership appointments


      HALEY KURISKY is an associate in the Houston office of Jackson Lewis P.C., a full service labor and employment firm with offices across the country.  Haley is a native Houstonian, having attended Rice University for her undergraduate degree and the University of Houston Law Center for her juris doctorate.  She gained an interest in employment law after interning for the Honorable Judge Lynn Hughes in the Southern District of Texas and for the Houston office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
