Explore the subtle nuances of how communication is different in a face-to-face versus virtual world. We will reference a tool called Everything DiSC® Workplace which is the world's most highly validated personalized profile* in the marketplace. The profile helps spark meaningful conversation between employees regarding what helps and hinders communication and interpersonal relationships. It helps us understand ourselves better and build better relationships with others.
Communication does not have to be a problem if you can better understand and describe your preferred communication style, what drives you and how others can work with you to bring out your best. Alice Dendinger, SPHR is a lifetime Senior Professional in Human Resources with over 38 years of experience assisting leaders, managers, supervisors, and direct reports at every level to "work better together."
After 20 years as a day to day HR Professional within varied work environments, she started the Alice Dendinger Alliance Group in 2002 and PivotU in 2014. Through consulting, training, and coaching, Alice has focused her work on strategic management, organizational development, employee relations, communication, performance management, mediation and conflict resolution. The Alice Dendinger Alliance Group became the Austin Alliance Group in April 2019 where Alice continues to contribute as The HR Alchemist. As a member of this new and growing team, Alice will focus more time to public speaking, facilitation, working with clients in areas of Organizational Development and supporting them in building more cohesive workplace cultures.
Alice served Texas HR professionals by speaking at HRSW for 17 consecutive years. She Is a member of the HRSW Speaker Hall of Fame. She also served on the Texas State Council In varying leadership roles from 1999 to 2009 when she wrapped up her leadership as the State Council Director. Alice has a Bachelor’s in Business, Master’s Degree in Communication and several professional certifications. Alice is an honored member of the HR Southwest Speaker Hall of Fame and was recently Invited to become an Ambassador for the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
