"Workforce 2000" and "Workforceᅠ2020"ᅠare books written by a Think Tank which sparked conversations about what Human Resources should consider to prepare for the expected changes.ᅠ

This session will take a look at where we are, currently, as well as past performance of talent management in relation to the book's insights, and predictions for our future workforce.ᅠᅠ

Participant Learning Objectives:
- Review how we prepared for current workforce, what did we not plan for and what was easier than expected

- Examine what we should consider for Workforce 2030 and 2040

- Discuss the relevance and outcomes of studies that predicted what we should consider for the workforce

- Consider guidelines to get HR ready for the New Workforce

Debi Dault, CRP, GPHR, SHRM-SCP, is a Director of Global HR Services with Kinetix International. She spends her time working with HR professionals and corporations determining solutions for global mobility and HR challenges both in the United States and abroad. Before joining Kinetix, Debi spent 16 years with a mid-sized global relocation management company in Business Development and Client Relations .

Prior to entering the relocation profession and industry, Debi was Vice President Professional Staffing for Today's Staffing, Inc., a division of CDI Inc., a 1.6 billion dollar, Fortune 500 Company. As a member of the Executive Committee she served on the Board of Directors and was responsible for one of their most profitable business units. She has held many positions in the HR profession. Some of her favorites were strategic planning, leading a Mergers and Acquisitions team and opening new markets. Debi helped establish best practices in talent management with top corporations.

Debi is a very active volunteer leader for Texas SHRM, the State Council of the Society of Human Resource Management, which supports 34 HR chapters and 33 Student HR chapters in Texas. She is a past director of Texas SHRM and previous President of Dallas HR. She currently serves as the current Executive Director for the Texas SHRM Global HR Conference

She is a frequent speaker on HR issues for both corporations and HR educational conferences, and has been an instructor for both the GPHR and SHRM-SCP certification classes at various universities.
